Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor, writer, director and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton, the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her performances as a kid and observing her mother doing her job. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements in her youth. In November 1999, Anna moved to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career, eventually making the move to Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They were engaged by 2009 when they were married.
