Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled having big hopes. Her most memorable roles include the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mother enjoyed watching films and instilled a passion for movies in her daughter as well. Paula was a fan of school co-curriculars and drama was her favorite. She played with her classmates and was a part of the school's productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous chances to perform during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting for a profession. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. She was awarded a three-month project creating documentaries for PBS. When she finished her three-month task successfully, her first job was working in the production department of television documentaries. The next thing she did was begin producing documentaries. She loved her work, but she still wanted to become an actor. The path to acting began when she had a minor role alongside Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's appeared in many movies and shows.
