Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to an incredibly musical family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. They are also cousins of singer Dionne Warwick. She began singing in a choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark as a young child and by the age of fifteen, she was singing back vocals professionally with her mother on Chaka Khan's hit song from 1978 Im Every Woman. Whitney, her album Whitney which came out in 1987, and featuring the hit songs How Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, continued her earlier success. It came with The Bodyguard (1996) that made her the top selling album in music. The film itself as well as the performances on screen were not widely appreciated, the album's soundtrack and her rendition of the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped the charts of albums and singles for a period of time and sold over 44 million copies across the world. In the same year, she married Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She had their only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in the month of March, 1993. Around this time when her well-documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was a daily drug user.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she's more commonly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter, as well as CNN's political correspondent. The anchorwoman produced a number of shows on weekends on the network, including Evans & Novak: Late Edition" as well as Inside Politics." She has previously worked for NBC as well as CBS.
