Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the United States and is a writer from Greece, a syndicated writer of columns and a businesswoman. She is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well being the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, writer, journalist, TV host and the owner of The Huffington Post. When she moved to England from Greece at 16 and obtaining an MA with Economics from Cambridge University. As the first non-English speaking student to graduate, she was elected President of The Cambridge Union' at age 21. When she graduated, she made her mark as columnist in the conservative syndicated media and with the launch of The Huffington Post' few years later she created a voice-based website that offered critical observations about the current political climate. Her celebrity status helped her by attracting a variety of high-profile contributors to post their views about news from the world of politics and culture. Arianna's popularity began in 2003, when she declared herself an independent candidate for the California recall vote to replace then-Governor Davis. She was also involved in the Detroit-based initiative that advocated for efficient vehicles that use less fuel. In 2009, she was ranked by Forbes as The most influential women in media gaining 12th position in the listing and the following year the Guardian listed her on the top 100 media list. In the year 2011, AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post and made the president of that media company, which also included a number of existing AOL properties too such as Engadget AOL music Style list and Patch Media. Elli is the daughter of Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, and Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, who both are journalists and consultants in management. She was extremely close to her father. However, it was her relationship with her mother who formed her. From her early years, she showed leadership abilities which are still widely admired. In her 16th year, she travelled to England to study and enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. In the years of her university she joined the Cambridge Union debating group where she was elected the first woman and the only foreign president. In 1972 she received an education in Economics. In the years following after graduation she became an editor of the critic's column and a television host. Additionally, she starred with Bernard Levin in an episode of Face the music and started making books with the editorial services of Bernard Levin.
