Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Shennessy was a active Canadian actress and singer celebrated for her notable contributions in American television. She was the main character in the American television series Law & Order, where she played the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy started her acting career alongside her sister in 1988 as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. She starred for a brief time on Broadway performing Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, and then delved into science fiction in 1993 as the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. She got her big break after the season ended in the form of a role as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. The show's viewers were captivated by her character for three seasons before her departure in the year 1996. Parker was a part of a variety of films and shows, including RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys from the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. For these roles she won a Golden Globe Award in 2006 and Emmy Award in 2007. Parker has also been the recipient in 2001 of the Tony Award for Best Actress for her role in the Broadway play Proof.
