Then, various artistes collaborated with Reggaeton's biggest stars including Drake and Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma with Medellin 2019 In 2020, several Reggaeton artists were complaining about the trend of their genre to the mainstream. However, a younger generation such as Rauw Alejandro was determined to maintain the development. He incorporated electronic dance styles as well as other styles into his music.
